SIL's "wedding" is this weekend so we must all hail down to her or we will be surgically removing her buoquet from our behinds.
She bought a sample dress from a store that was going out of business and it was dirty.....she waits till 3 days before the wedding to take it to be cleaned and no business will do it for her. So she's pissed. I'm pretty sure she has no right to be mad about that.
I'm still hunting for the perfect job but its moving soslow so I may have to go part time at Barnes and Nobles while I continue my search because Fall is coming and thats when I do most of my shopping for the year. No joke.
Cody's asleep...and I'm wide awake....bored.....minus the hint of ambien starting to kick in....this should get interesting.

if you can see that...that cake is the one my SIL will be having at her wedding...it makes me cringe and then giggle..
Re: My life in the last few days
That cake looks like something from the 1980's! Or at least what I imagine a 1980's cake would look like. Ugh. Hopefully it'll taste good!
What kind of shopping do you do for the whole year? Clothes? Food?
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
As a pastry chef... I will now be having nightmares of this cake when I go to bed. IIIIICCCCCKKKKK! I friggen hate cakes like that. Why people even ask for columns - MUCH LESS STAIRS - on a cake anymore just boggles my mind. Gag.
On a lighter note... I've already started my scarf shopping! I bought 2 this week! HAHAHA! And I LIVE in cardigans!
That cake is unbelievable. In a bad way.
And your SIL has nobody to blame about her dress but herself. I took my dress to be pressed six weeks before my wedding! The cleaners thought I was nuts, but my thought was that if they somehow destroyed the dress, I wanted time to come up with a Plan B!
I was JUST about to say that!!! Please, please, please take lots of pictures so we can laugh!!!!!
