I gave him your suggestions and he was like "so you want to drive 3+ hours, then 1+ more to Cleveland?" I thought that was a bad idea too, but I thought the Smuckers store would be good.
His suggestion---lets just go there have lunch and let Alex play at the Rubbermade store. After that we can take naps and then go out to dinner and back to the hotel.
OMG shoot me now. I suppose it is just one boring day and I'll survive, but still I just wish MIL was up for doing something. We do the same crap when we visit my mom...eat and that is it.
