Seriously, it is always so amusing. I posted my garage sale ad Wednesday and I figured people would respond and ask me questions.
My two favorites:
one girl emailed me and asked me if I could email her pictures of all the clothes I'm selling and then she said if she liked them could she buy them early
my response: No, I'm sorry, there is too much clothing to take pictures of. The sale is Sat. July 24 and Sun. July 25.
another girl emailed me and said "i am interested in your garage sale"
my response: I didn't even bother to respond to that one, what would I say?? Thanks, come to it then. LOL
Booze, it's what's for dinner

Re: CL always amazes me
I accidently deleted my post editor from CL when I had the garage sale and TWO WEEKS LATER people started emailing me and looking for stuff from the sale.
A guy asked me for my shuffle (which didn't sell) and I said $25 and he said I'll give you $5. Really? I'll use it as a flash first thanks.
I'm hoping to get my neighborhood to do another sale next weekend and then maybe I can sell it!
People are crazy.
Please take no offense to this if you are foreign. But we always get the middle eastern people at our sales and they are terrible about trying to get you down in price. I've had things for $10 and they will say $1, and when I say no they keep bugging and bugging and bugging until your so sick of them you want them to leave so you cave.
I also hate the people that show up at 7 a.m. when your sale starts at 9 a.m. grrrrrrr.......... You're trying to set up and here they come.
I had someone come to my door about a week ago to ask me if I had sold the calculators I had out at my garage sale cause she decided she wanted them. I told her I put everything away already, which was true. If they were laying on my table I would have sold them. I just found it a little odd.
We get a lot of migrant workers at our garage sales out here, some of them speak very little English and I know pretty much no Spanish so it's a challenge when they try to talk you down on an item in Spanish
I had a summery dress out for like $1 and a lady was like "Will you take less for this?" In my head, I thought "REALLY??" but I said "Sure, how much were you hoping for?" and she told me a quarter. A QUARTER for a DRESS. I sold it anyhow because I just wanted it gone, but seriously, people are nutters.
