Razor recommendation?

Hi ladies,

I for many years used my lovely, clunky old Gillette sparkly purple razor. I decided to update my razor and use a sample Schick Quattro I got. (The price of the Gillette razors was getting more and more expensive probably b/c people don't have them as much anymore is my guess) So since I started using the Schick I have been getting ingrown hairs on my legs! I mean I like a close smooth shave but I don't want to deal with ingrown hairs.

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate your input! TIA!

I use the Venus with the soap thingies on it -- I forget the name. I didn't actually think this razor would be worth a crap but decided to try it b/c it can be hard to use shaving cream in my stand-up shower, but I love it!!! And you always have a friendly reminder to change the blade with the soap things run out

LOL...I still have one of those purple sparkly ones too!!!

I also have the one Rachel is talking about (Venus Breeze). It is super nice. I find that the gel bars wear out quickly.

I also have the Venus Embrace and have been using that one regularly and I really like it. It does nick easily if you are not careful.

I use the Venus Spa Breeze - you don't need shaving cream and it rarely nicks you!

I also have a Venus and love it. I've been using it for several years and have never really had a problem with it.

LOL I tried to go cheap and go back to regular Venus and no good! LOVE IT.
