Of my almost 38 week belly. Please ignore my roots, which need to be done, and my bathroom mirror, which needs to be washed.

I've been super crampy the last few days, and having lots of contractions off and on. From last week's check to this week's check I went from nothing going on to 1 cm dilated and 75 or 80% effaced. Woooo. It's nice to know something is going on, I suppose, though I spent two weeks 90% effaced last time.
Also, see that bandaid on my shoulder? I got a whooping cough booster. I'm trying to give it the autism in the womb.

And since I'm uploading things from my phone, here's a belated picture of Will's recent haircut. It was hard to get him to stop moving, so it's a little blurry.

Re: here is a picture
I think I'm ready to go. There are a couple things I need to finish up at work, but they're pretty small and I can pawn them off on my co-worker by email if need by.
ETA That should say "If need be." Dur.
Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
You look gorgeous!
I swear that baby gestation time goes double speed in the CN universe. How are you already 38 weeks? Geez.

Thanks guys! Last week it was super hot here, but this week the warmest it's gotten by us is 72. It even rained this morning. It was totally awesome. Best summer pregnancy weather ever.
Oh, and also, I would like to report that my OB did not "get violent" with me when she did the internal.
So you don't like it rough, eh?
You look fantastic! I saw an ad for whooping cough in Real Simple today that was rather alarming so I say good on you, getting the vaccine and probably dooming your baby to autism.
Here it is:
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Speaking of autism and vaccines, I was reading a very old issue of People at the doctor's office today and there was an article about Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's split, including a big sidebar about the autism crap. I wanted to stab them right in their magazine faces. What a load of horseshit.
Also observed in said old copy of People Magazine: Suri Cruise looks EXACTLY like Katie Holmes and poor Maura Tierney just looks old and tired. I hope she bounces back from her treatments. Or, well, has bounced back. Since the picture is now several months old.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
NP, you do look fantastic. I can't believe Evie is almost here - yay!
I would be concerned about whooping cough too, so I think the booster was a smart thing to do. Did Lorne get it?
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
Ditto to WTF did the time go? I hope all goes well for the final stretch.
Judging off of your picture and Angie's new sig pic, I am starting to be really happy I did not retain any evidence of what I looked like pregnant. You two are so freaking cute. I did not wear pregnancy nearly as well as the two of you.
Dear Noisy & Angie,
You guys look great. Pregnancy looks good on you.
With jealousy and resentment,
HT the roly poly pizza face
Aw, thanks guys.
HT - I had acne issues in the first and beginning of the second trimester (both pregnancies) and then my skin magically cleared up around 24 or 25 weeks and looked great. I hope you get the same magical skin hormones.
Awww, you look so pretty lady!
HT, you are adorable. Don't hate on yourself, hater.
The nerve!
