Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I had the worst nightmare :(
I woke up this morning freaked out. In my dream it was Christmas eve, and we had DH's family over for dinner, etc.
After they left and I was cleaning up in the kitchen I heard a high pitched noise coming from our back door (it sounded so vivid and real). I checked it out and saw a guy crouched down with a drill going through our lock. He was trying to break in!!!
I freaked out, told DH (we also had like a 7 yr old daughter), and we huddled in the LR-frozen. We didnt know what to do. Finally (which felt like forever) we decided to book it and leave the house as fast as possible.
Buuut, my dumbass decided to throw/slide a glass on the floor to hit the door and get the guy's attention that we were home. It hit the door and the guy didnt even flinch. We left and were safe, and decided that we would be getting new & better locks and that we were also getting a security system.
