Highlights rec in G-town or Round Rock?
Anyone have a recommendation of an affordable place to get highlights in Georgetown or Round Rock? I currently use Visible Changes at Barton Creek, and while I?m happy with the results, I?m thinking driving 40 miles to spend $80-90 for partial highlights on really short hair is getting a wee bit ridiculous. (I was fine with the drive for my stylist, but she?s not there anymore, so I have no reason to stay loyal to them for my highlights). I?d really love to be able to get all over color and highlights for less than $100, but I realize that may be a pipe dream.

I use Alyssa at Salon 2 to Tangle. If she's busy then I've had Adrian do my hair. I've seen Alyssa for 7-8 years and I've lived in S. Austin and still driven to Georgetown to see her. All the girls there are wonderful IMO.

How funny... I was about to suggest Alyssa at 2 to Tangle in GT too! I was given the recommendation from a very good friend and finally went in to see her. I love the job she did and my highlights and cut were $45. I am very pleased with her and look forward to becoming a regular!

I just looked at the web site and the prices look great! I'll be giving them a call on my break to see when I can get in. Nice to hear that both of you have had good experiences! I need a haircut, too, but I haven't cheated on my stylist in 9 years, so I'm going to have to give that a lot of thought!
ETA: I'm in reverse sticker shock. I called and spoke with Adrian. She quoted me $52 for all over color, full highlights and trim! I usually pay $130 for just the highlights and cut, no all over color. I'm going in on Wednesday, so I hope all goes well!

I've been going to them for years and I just can't believe some of my friends pay 200$+. I would have cut out getting my hair done a long time ago if it costs that much.
