Weekend plans?
It's dead in here...did you all take off for the weekend already? 
I've been swamped with work today. Looking forward to dinner and DVD with friends tonight, then nothing really planned for the weekend, which is fine by me.

I'm still here, but only now and then. We're hosting the social hour after work and we've been rolling sushi since 10:30am.
I'm so pumped for this weekend! Tomorrow my two closest friends from college are coming over! I haven't seen them in 5 months. Sunday I'm going wedding dress shopping with my friend! I'm a BM and she was one of mine.
2012 Reading Challenge
I'm planning/hosting a going away party for a friend of mine tomorrow night so tonight is filled with last minute craft projects/logistics for it and then tomorrow night is the big party. It's in the city and I'm so excited. We got her a DJ and everything, so it'll be a great time!

I've been in CT for work for a few days. DH is on his way down to meet me and we're supposed to go to a BBQ tonight (although it's raining here so I'm not as excited for it as I was). Tomorrow night we have a wedding to attend- a really good friend from high school. Sunday spending the day with DH's family, but I'm not sure what we're doing.
I'm literally counting the days until Aug 15th when all my summer weekend plans are finally over. We've had to be away/ in CT every weekend since mid-June-8/15 for events and I'm so looking forward to having my quiet weekends at home back.
I was in Kansas City all weekend with my sister.
I am very pleasantly surprised by KC. Some of it is very posh, with the same, and more, upscale shopping that Boston has. It's also an old mafia town so some of those houses/estates are HOOOOOOOGE.
Yay for getting out, but how cute that you missed her
