vibes, good thoughts, nestie dust, prayers if you do those
I'll take whatever you got, if you're so inclined. My dad is in the hospital right now for what we THINK is a gallbladder problem. I've probably been on the phone with either my mom or my sister about 10 times in the space of the past hour or two. He's resting comfortably and should be fine, but he scared us all badly a few years back with a congenital heart defect, so we're a little high strung when it comes to him. They're going to run a gallbladder function test on him either tonight or tomorrow, so that should hopefully tell us what the next plan is.

How scary!!
Thinking of you all, and sending good thoughts, well wishes, and dust...and prayers. You need it, you got it.
You gals are too sweet. So far, so good...I'm mainly just distracting myself this evening. I'm going to go see him tomorrow, and stay with him tomorrow night if he's still in the hospital. My mom's there tonight, so she'll need some good rest.
Ami, I'm sorry to hear about your dad! What is his heart doing? My dad had an aortic valve replacement done in 2004, and while they were at it they did a triple bypass as well. If he needs any cardio specialists, I have some names I could recommend to you if you like. Hugs and good thoughts to you and your family is well...we want our dads healthy and living to be 100, dang it!
Oh no, I hope everything is ok and this is just a minor issue.
I forgot the actual name of what the dr said he had (some huge long name) but basically he is having some strange heart palpatations (I know I screwed that word up). He has been having some that last about 5 minutes and they make him really dizzy and his heart starts racing. He has been doing some tests and they said that it's something that they can't really fix but it puts him in high risk of a heart attack.
I hope your dad continues to do well!
Is it aortic stenosis, by any chance? Calcium deposits on his valves?
