How was everyone's weekend? Did you guys do anything fun in this heat?
Re: Weekend recap?
You must be exhausted!
I did nothing of any interest. Ha ha ha. Just projects around the house, and some school work.
Friday night we hung out with another couple. Had dinner at their place and then hit Cabot's for dessert. I gave her the blanket I made for her soon-to-be-born baby.
Saturday I spent with family--mom, dad, grandpa.
Today I mostly went shopping :P Hit the Nordy's anniversary sale and tried to find something to wear to the upcoming weddings we're attending--not a lot of luck on that front, unfortunately.
Hey girls!
Friday we just hung around since DH was not feeling well. On Saturday my friend and I drove out to Manchester for the art festival and then we spent the day at the beach etc. in Rockport. It was so beautiful there. It was our first time.
Yesterday DH was feeling a bit better so we went to see Inception. Great movie for those who haven't seen it yet. Looking at Leo for 2 hours isn't bad either
This sounds amazing! I co-hosted a going away party for a friend on Saturday night in the city so Friday night was dealing with last minute stuff, Saturday night was the party, and Sunday I spent all day recovering. I can't hang like I used to! People didn't leave until 2am and I had to stay till the end. H and I didn't get to bed until 3. I'm still feeling it this morning.
It was ok... I had Friday off, had a lazy morning and then drove up to Maine. When I got up there, I baked a cake and then spent the evening decorating it for my neighbor who was turning 70.
I didn't sleep well that night- I had cake nightmares and then I just kept waking up... and was not feeling great on Saturday so I spent most of the day lying outside on the hammock or lounge chair instead of at the beach.
The cake was a hit which was awesome... and I was relieved... I spent most of the day Saturday also making sure the fondant wasn't melting...
Sunday, I hung out with my family/ neighbors and then drove home and relaxed at home for the evening. DH grilled a great dinner!
The weekend went by way too fast...
I spent Friday night with friends, being geeky playing video games and eating bad food.
Saturday was spent in Peabody for my cousin's 3rd birthday party.
Yesterday was spent running errands then hanging out with friends for coffee out in Worcester.
Both weekend nights I was in be no later than 9pm. I wish I could still be in bed right now.
