I'm about to start Confessions of a Prairie *** by Alison Arngrim (she played Nellie on Little House on the Prairie)

I just finished House Selling for Dummies-  non-fiction,  really informative and easy to read. Not too exciting though!

  • I recently finished two books - To Kill a Mockingbird (its the 50th anniversary of that book -  and I realized I had never read it!) - which was great.

Also, Little Bee by Chris Cleave - also good... although I was a little disappointed in it.

I am about to go to B&N today to buy Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

  • I am finishing up Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain, and then I have a whole stack of the Laurel K Hamilton "Anita Blake" books to get through.
    PersonalMilestone
  • I finished Water for Elephants (someone on here wanted to talk about it but I forget who).

I'm almost done with Madelyn Wickham's Sleeping Arrangements.  It is a pen name for the Sophie Kinsella novels, the shopaholic series.

    This one's on my list!

I'm reading Girl From Yamhill - the first autobiography by Beverly Cleary, who wrote the Ramona books.  I have her other autobiography next, and then a stack of books my sister loaned me.

  • I'm currently reading What is the What by Dave Eggers. It's the story about the Lost Boys from the Sudan and one young man's story as told to the author. It's a GREAT book!

I just finished the Audio version of water for elephants and I loved it! Did you hear the movie version blended the characters of Uncle Al and August into just one - Uncle August?!

  • i'm somewhere in the middle of The Count of Monte Cristo although i haven't touched it in at least a month and it is so painfully boring that i may never pick it up again

No but I'm not surprised.  That's an easy mix because Al is rarely in the book compared to August.  I heard they have got R Patz and Reese Witherspoon for the movie.
