couple's massage!
i am SO thrilled. the only massage i've ever gotten was before our wedding and it was "just a" 30ish minute massage that felt so good... the other night i had a retreat with the spouse's club i'm an officer in and the hotel we were at were offering 50% off their spa packages - so i jumped right on it and dh & i are getting a 150 minute couple's massage for his birthday (not till november - something to look REALLY forward to 
)

I want to do a couple's massage, but John is hesitant to have a stranger touch him.
Everyone tells me a massage is great but for some reason I have a hard time letting someone touch me. I've had those shoulder massages and I just cringe. I think my muscles are tense and so it doesn't feel too well.
Maybe one day. G wouldn't do it because he wouldn't want a stranger touching him.

we had a couple's massage on our honeymoon. well, they called it a couple's massage..but it was really just a 30 min massage for each of us. we were in separate huts. mine was awesome. dh didn't like his. and i found out he talked to the girl the whole time! He wasn't comfortable and didn't relax. he just nervously talked the whole time and didn't enjoy it.
i think if we had one in the same room it might calm him down more and I'd make sure to tell him to 'zip it' if he started yapping.
we have never had a couples massage.
but my old roommate went to massage school and she would give me one all the time.
that is AWESOME! I should send dh to masseuse school. haha
