How was your weekend?? My biggest accomplishments this weekend were: buying new shades for the family room windows (finally!) , and mailing out our thank you cards!!!!

Yay for productivity!!!
Weekend wasn't so great. We had another tornado Friday night & lost power for about 3 hours. Stayed over my parents that night. Most of my in laws were without power for over 24 hours; BIL/SIL/2 nephews came over for dinner Saturday & visited for a while. Sunday we bummed around the house all day. It was the only really nice day we had and I wanted to hit the pool but it was too late by the time we finished our chores & yard work, plus we couldn't get the kid off Club Penguin. She didn't get dressed until 3:30 when Mike took her home and we had dinner over my parents & brought my bike and the last of the wedding gifts to the house.
Oh yeah - and I got a new car!
2010 Escape, and traded the Camaro in.
Mine was good. I had a family reunion on Saturday. A lot of family we've never met before so it was very intersting.
Sunday DH and I did housework ALL day. We got so much accomplished that I actually feel like the house is coming together. Especially the room that used to store all the wedding stuff!

Friday I worked w/ my kids.
Saturday I ran errands w/ my mom and sister. Then our friends came over for a game night!
Sunday I was at my friend's bridal shower which was nice, but it was all the way in CT (from NJ) so it was a hike. Then headed to a family friend's house for our usual pool party/bbq (aka Sunday Soiree) luckily it only rained for about an hour.
OH and all weekend DH and I were working on getting my business website/facebook page up and running!
Website needs another week or so but we are getting there!! 
Happy Monday indeed! We spent the weekend catching up with some friends who recently had a baby -- spent the day w/ them on Saturday and then went out for sushi that night.
Yesterday I took the doors of my kitchen cabinets and painted the inside so all my kickass fiestaware from the wedding is open and on display. It's like a whole new kitchen!!
Happy Monday! Mine was fun, if not extremely HOT!!!! (more on that in a new post!) Whew - glad this mid-Atlantic heat wave is finally breaking up :-)
Didn't really do anything I could call "productive", per se...but after a long week at work, it was nice to just "be"...back at work now, getting back into the swing of things!
Hey everyone! My weekend started crazy (see the epic fail post above), but it was pretty lazy after that. We basically just tried to stay out of the heat (105 degrees both Saturday and Sunday! melt.). My parents came to town Sunday night to take H and I out to dinner. We haven't seen either of them since the wedding, so that was nice.
I am looking forward to Friday when H and I head to Ohio for a wedding for his aunt. I'll get to meet all the family who couldn't make it down for our wedding, so it should be fun! Just have to make it through this week first!
My weekend was pretty good- Friday night we hung out with another couple for a while after dinner. Saturday DH and I bummed around in the am then went to a 1:30 showing of Inception- good movie! We are not huge movie fanatics but this one was worth going to in the theater. We went to Red Robin and got milkshakes (blueberry vanilla for him and Mint Brownie for me) and quesadilla appetizer for dinner! Yum!! Sunday we ran errands, found ourselves a new tv stand at Costco (DH will get it during the week with stepson) and watched the Phils game.
The kids came home yesterday at dinnertime from their week+ vacation with their mom and her boyfriend and his family in NC. They seemed happy to be home-stepson sent DH a Facbook message Saturday "I MISS YOU AND LISA DANG IT." :-) It's good to be missed.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Our weekend was pretty good. Friday I went wtih DH to do a delivery for work. Saturday we went to a couple's shower/BBQ for some friends who are getting married in Sept.
Yesterday we did some stuff around the apt and then my BFF came over for dinner for her birthday.
Overall it was a fairly quiet weekend and we had some good quality time together.
My weekend was soooo mellow. I didn't leave the house from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning since it was too hot out to deal. I caught up on lots of stuff around the house - rearranged some of the kitchen cabinets, unpacked the remaining wedding gifts, finished, addressed and sealed our thank you notes, and made some good meals. Saturday night DH was at the Rush concert with a bunch of our friends and it's the first Saturday night I've been home alone in... years probably. I ended up watching a chick flick :0
Yesterday we went to a local street fair for a little while, where I was bad and had some fried oreos.
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
