My grandma was telling me about this new place in OKC (NW 59th & May) called Furniture Buy Consignment.  It is right between Gordman's and Best Buy.  I actually went to see if they had a set of furniture for Bentley, and they really didn't have anything except this rustic looking full/queen headboard and footboard with a mirror topped dresser.  I actually really liked it, but it looked really girly with the iron scrollwork at the top of the mirror and headboard.

I guess the place only accepts things that are in near perfect condition.  They had tons of home decor, couch and loveseat sets, and they had a few bedroom suites.  I really liked them, it just was too big for tiny's room (king size beds, huge dressers).  They said they get stuff in daily, so it might be worth checking out.

And, if you're interested, they had the prettiest wooden rocking chair.  It looked antique--I loved it and would have totally bought it if I didn't already have a rocker smack in the middle of my living room.  Anywho--my point is, you might check here throughout your pg if you don't find what you like on craigslist!  I am going to check back with them in a couple of weeks for B.`

  • Ack!  This furniture stuff is going to be interesting that is for sure.  I stopped in Shawnee Saturday on our way to a b-day party that was held in a funeral home (I was laughing the whole way there, another story).  I found the "most perfect" dresser in the whole world, or so I thought!  It was only $170 but it was def for a girls room (it sold no more than 20 mins before I walked in the store!), I will probably be a furniture buying fool in a couple of weeks.  This is a *very* similar dresser I found on CL, it's a lot more $$$ but....  If I am wrong about this babe Jesse just might be buying it for me.  lol  It would be changed a little bit with hardware and the mirror would be gone.  Then FIL would take care of the finish for me.

I will have to check out that store, I really want something a little different than I am finding in most of the stores.
