? about Riverbend Music Center
I was thinking of suprising my husband with tickets to the Kings of Leon concert in Sept which is at the Riverbend for our first anniversary. I'm from Pittsburgh and at our Starlight Theater it was more fun to be on the lawn --- is this the case at Riverbend or should I shoot for seat tickets?
Any info would be great!
Val

Thanks for all of the responses! I am going to check out what seats are available, hope there are some left!
Thanks again!

Honestly it depends on the show.
The lawn for Buffet is insanity, but if you like to party it's the place to be.
The lawn for Kenny Chesney stressed me out and I didn't enjoy myself AT.ALL. Which is a shame because my favorite concert to that point was Kenny at US Bank.
The lawn for Toby Keith was pleasant and enjoyable. They didn't oversell it at all, and we were able to sit on a blanket, enjoy the show, and had a great time.
That being said, if you want a guaranteed view, get the pavilion seats. Otherwise, know the artist and decide if it's one where you want to be in the thick of things.

The lawn for Kenny Chesney stressed me out and I didn't enjoy myself AT.ALL. The lawn was packed, we saw at least 5 fights, way too many drunks to count, and couldn't even stand without someone inches from you. Which is a shame because my favorite concert to that point was Kenny at US Bank.
