Wow this board was dead this weekend! You all must be off doing super exciting things this weekend... and I can't wait to hear all about them!
So we've been trying to buy a house since January... I'm sure some of you remember me complaining about it back on TK or on FB. We were supposed to close tomorrow, but our financial guy didn't send the loan packet off in time. Boo hiss.
We sent in all of our last minute info and we're SUPPOSED to get our closing date tomorrow! EEP!!!! I'm nervous because we've hit so many speed bumps up to this point. It seems like there is ALWAYS something. And if we can't close by Saturday the house goes to foreclosure. And we lose everything we've put into it. FAAAAILLLL.
Sorry for the vent and ramble... I'm bored and no one else is posting haha Hope you guys are having a FAB weekend :-)
Re: Nervous/ Excited/ Bored
My fingers are crossed that you can close by Saturday, Sarah! We went through alot of bumps in the road with our house too before we closed. We found out the day before we were suppose to close that the underwriter still was not done with the paperwork, through alot of prayers they got the exception we needed to close the next day.
Please keep us updated on the progress! There is nothing better than getting the keys in your hand after all that stress
My fingers are crossed for you too! At 4pm the night before we were supposed to close, the mortgage guy called us and said he couldn't get an answer from our insurance guy so we couldn't close, and we tried calling too but no one answered. We ended up driving to the office 30 min away on the other side of town...luckily they were in the office, so we were able to get everything settled. Good thing too, because we had the moving people coming right after we closed the next day!
It will feel great to finally have everything done, so excited for you!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Hope everything goes smooth for you! They changed our closing date a few time when we were buying our house so I know how it feels!
