Hey!
I'm new to this board but my husband and I got married March 14th 2010! We had a great, lazy weekend! We had friends over Saturday night and my friend and I made dinner while our husbands hung out...we made homemade pizza which took like 2 hours to make lol. We didn't realize until after we were already making it that the pizza dough had to rise for like an hour. Yesterday we hung out at the pool.
The last movie I saw was Eclipse...I loved it and actually DH liked it too
He wouldn't admit that freely though.
I have Time after Time by Cindi Lauper stuck in my head right now cause I just heard it.
Favorite summer beverage is Diet Cherry Limeade at Sonic. If you haven't ever tried it you must!
I'm looking forward to attending my friends wedding in Conneticut in August! It will be the first nice wedding DH and I have attended since we got married. My birthday is also August 27th!

Last movie: Honestly, I don't remember. We had 27 Dresses on in the background on Saturday night at my neighborhood ladies GTG. I'm heading to Redbox soon to get DH Book of Eli. He's home for the day and confined to the couch or the bed. (see other post)

August: BFF's baby? I literally have nothing on our calendar. Looking forward to Labor day with my family in Boston and Maine!

DH and I will have our "7 years together" anniversary on August 8th, so I always look forward to that!
1) Last movie you saw? We honestly haven't seen a movie in the theatres in over a year. Last movie we saw at home though was "The Blind Side". Probably one of my new fav movies.

3) Favorite summer beverage? I'm a fan of mudslides during the summer... non-alcoholic would be lemonade.
4) What are you looking forward to in August? Honestly, nothing really (ha). BIL is scheduled to come up the first full weekend in August and there are already fights since he doesn't understand the concept that he can't just want to do things with DH that would leave me by myself all day long and the MIL/FIL are planning on coming up the middle of August. It wouldn't be bad if they weren't planning on being there the night I return from being away from home for work. Blah. Bring on September!
I had a good weekend. We went camping (it was really hot) and then to a picnic on Sunday at SIL's house and swimming.

"Lover Lover" by Jerrod Nieman. It's a country song that DH and I joke about all the time. I don't bring him a cookie too when I go to the kitchen, he sings "Lover, Lover you don't treat me no good no more." ha!

Sonic Diet Coke with Strawberry. I love Sonic in the summer (I love it all year round...but I go more when its super hot in the summer)
4) What are you looking forward to in August?
I have a busy August. August 1- going to see Beauty and the Beast the musical w/ my mom...August 5- Hanson concert with a friend in Memphis, two weddings of good friends, a trip home to see friends and the family, and school starting. So much going on!
It's always neat to see someone who has the same anniversary.
DH and I have been together almost 8 years ourselves!

I finally saw "Frieda." It takes me about two years to see a movie so I'm about due to see a lot of flicks.
2) What song can you not get out of your head?
I had a song in my head earlier but Wheel of Fortune just distracted me. lol
3) Favorite summer beverage
You are all making me jealous with your alcoholic beverages
But the cherry limeade at Sonic is all kinds of crack in a cup!
4) What are you looking forward to in August?
We have a wedding on the 21st, which is also my parent's anniversary (don't ask me what year but it's over 30 years!), DH and I will be together officially 4 years on the 15th and we find out baby's sex on the 6th (if Munchkin cooperates). Oh and my dad and one of my BFF's birthday's are both on the 17th and another close friend is the 20th and her son's birthday is the 3rd. WHEW!
Our weekend was good. L's birthday party was Saturday, and even though it was hectic, and I was being pulled in every direction, he had a great time and I enjoyed being with all our family and friends again.
1. Theater - We saw Eclipse in the theaters last, and I must say, it was awesome! I loved it.
At home - Saturday night we attempted to watch Book of Eli, but I wasn't able to get into it. So, we popped in Michael Jackson's This Is It, and it was phenomenal! I would definitely recommend that movie to anyone!
2. I've been having the song, 'Evacuate the Dance Floor' by Cascada stuck in my head all day. I heard it on a commercial and I've been singing it ever since.
3. Alcoholic - Hurricane from Pat O' Briens, it's so fruity and it doesn't have an alcohol taste to it, delicious!
Non-alcoholic - Water really, I'm not big on juices.
4. In August, H and I are heading back to NOLA and spending a few days there. We are going to the casinos, Bourbon Street, and the French Quarter again, our favorite places that we can't get enough of!
I also have several friends' birthdays in August to celebrate and then H is starting Paramedic school, so August will be pretty entertaining.
