It's happening again in August: http://www.bostonusa.com/visit/restaurantweek
I made reservations for Lumiere and might also do No. 9 Park (though I want to know more about the menu for that night first--must have the prune-stuffed gnocchi again, right Buckeye?
).
Where will you go?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Restaurant Week, anyone?
Rock, I was thinking of you this weekend. I was reading (I think in Globe Magazine?) about cooking classes, and one of them is with the chefs from No. 9 Park, and they mentioned the prune stuffed gnocchi. Let me see if I can find it online.
Edit: I found it!

No. 9 prune-stuffed gnocchi, ::drool:: you definitely have to have it again, I insist!
Lumiere would probably be great as well, we never got a chance to make it there. I wish we had, because the duck sounded delicious!
We've been trying some new places out here though, my friends make fun of us for being such foodies (DH is actually worse), we do eat out a lot though, so its a pretty true accusation!
LOL, you could be called a lot worse! I'd take it as a compliment.
I'm planning to go with my girl friends, but we haven't picked a place yet. I'd love to go to one of the expensive sushi places if possible.
And Lumiere is so good! You'll love it!

I've never heard of it. Why is it intimidating?
A friend of mine went with his uncle, who is a member I guess, a few months ago. He said everyone was dressed to the nines and he felt like the waiters were about to lean him back for a hot towel and a shave they were so attentive
I'm sure it is not so intimidating, but I have no idea what I would wear! I guess the view is beautiful (they are 30 something floors up) and the food is great.

We should be there at the tail end of it. I want the north end, so our friends suggested we go somewhere over there who honors RW!
Yes, we have a wedding in upstate NH and the Sunday after brunch, we are going into the city to do a walk thru of our condo and see some friends for dinner (since we can't make 2 of their weddings, also in August) before we fly out Monday
No, he's still there! He seems great, I just want to make sure the paint has held up and that there aren't any issues that he hasn't reported that need to be fixed or addressed! He has made being a LL very easy, thankfully! Now, if he'll only stay for a few years! lol.
