just thought i'd pass this along...since i'm still on summer vacation, i've been driving around more and thusly, have noticed places where the police seem to hang out and pull people over. here're two places i've noticed recently:
~ the stretch of bagdad road between 2243 and crystal falls pkwy. it's a 4 lane with a turn lane and the speed limit's only 40, so it feels like you're crawling. but there's good places for the police to sit and zap you as it's fairly straight and flat.
~ the part of 1431 that runs in front of 1890 ranch. they're doing construction over there, so the speed limit is 45 right in there. every time i go through there, they have 1 or 2 people pulled over at a time.
hope this helps you avoid a ticket!

Re: CP/L: places to watch for "the fuzz"
oh yeah, most of bagdad is 40 mph, which is a joke! cruise control is my friend, the police like to hang out on that road quite a bit.
I've also seen a motorcycle cop on 183A a few times - he's right before the cedar park center when heading south.
I'm not even going to admit how many tickets I have received on Bagdad Road the last 10 years. Its embarrassing. The frequency has gone down since I got PG (only 1 in that time) because now I tend to be a paranoid driver. But back in the day, they knew my car.
And my first name.
"Rebecca... you know why we're pulling you over... "
No joke.
