Yep. We shaved it (with an extra long guard on the thingy).
We had taken him to one of those kid haircut places several months ago. He freaked out with the strange lady touching his head and spraying water on him. She wasn't able to get it very well, in that she was trying to avoid stabbing the flailing kid in the eye with her scissors. All of that, and $30 later, we decided to see what we could do at home.
We started out with the scissors to just take a little off. But it was slow going, and we just decided to be done with it and see how he reacted to the buzzing clippers. Relatively well. The length is still pretty jacked in several places, but, it's good enough.
And that is my 200 word essay on the exciting world of Andy's second haircut. Thanks for asking.
I think it looks super cute. And I'm impressed that he sat still for you guys - Will sits far more still for the lady at the kid's haircutting place we take him to than he sits for us, so I think we're going to continue taking him there until the chances of us slicing his face off have reduced significantly.

Phsh! Sit still? Yeah, not so much. We did it in the garage (we have part of our garage set up as a hang out room - a "man hole" if you will). We don't let him hang out there very much, so it was like a treat for him to be in there. We would get a couple of swipes in. He would go find something new to play with. A few more swipes. And so on.
All in all (including trying to get the longer pieces in front), it was probably an hour long event.
