what to wear to a bridal shower??
I am in a wedding in August and the BM are hosting a "Hats and Heels" tea for the bride. Long story short the MOH planned everything including the date and theme...it made everyone else mad that we were not asked or included in the planning.
So we are suppose to wear hats like Kentucky Derby. I am borrowing a hat from one of my grandmothers friend it is red. I have no idea what clothing to wear. Suggestions, Ideas, Thoughts are needed please. I would rather not spend a lot of money.

I'm also in a wedding in August with a Maid of Honor that thinks she's the bride. It's been interesting to say the least!
This sounds like it will be perfect.
I think a garden party type dress would be ideal. I'd honestly try to stay away from black assuming it's in the afternoon, BUT if that's what you have, then wear it. No sense in spending money for something new.
Do you have anything in a cream/off white color? That would be nice for the afternoon.
