Cheer me up

I'm having a crummy day. Apparently the only options we have to go after our landlord involve either a hefty risk (of eviction, if he takes us to the district justice and the ruling goes against us... though I would hope it wouldn't) or extreme expense (hiring a lawyer, which we can't afford right now). Matt's dog-sitting all week, so I don't even get to see him, and the house he's watching has no cell service, so it's hard to talk to him!

The board is dead today. Somebody tell me something happy!

  • I can also tell you the story about how I got a giant industrial strength hurricane fan dropped on my head over the weekend and about how my head was all lumpy and freakish looking!!!  It's only funny if you know my history of getting hurt though.  Basically, I get hurt ALL THE TIME.  Adam does too.  We are the most accident-prone couple in the history of all accidents (hence the two car accidents within a month before the wedding).  Well, we usually end up having to go to the emergency room multiple times a year and everyone at work gives me crap about it.

So we get down to Mississippi and we're cleaning out the room that we're staying in (since no one has been down there in a year, it's covered in dirt and spider webs and gross things).  So I'm sweeping, and all of a sudden I'm on the floor.  Adam had turned on the fan and since it wasn't secured to anything, it fell..... on my head.  So yeah, I had to go around all weekend with this giant bright red spot right in the middle of the part of my hair and with these huge lumps all over my head!!

It's always fun to laugh when something misfortunate happens to someone!!!  Cheered up yet?

Well, let me tell you.... it SUCKS!!!  If you're not dying, it takes forever to be seen.  I didn't have to go for the fan falling on my head, but I'm pretty sure the ER desk people here in Huntsville could probably recognize Adam and I as we walk through the doors.  They probably know us by name.

  • Nothing makes me laugh harder than people falling down.  I would recommend youtube, "people falling".

Tell him that of course you can do it... But that the dj will be the homeless guy outside with a cardboard mixer and computer.... and that all 250 people will each get one cube of cheese.  They all get to go out and drink water from the puddle outside for their beverages!!!

  • Stu oh how I adore you!!! Just so you know coke zero through the nose, not good! I just find people amazing.   I only had 45 guests and i spent a lot more than 2000. I don't know what to tell people. Can I just yell YOU ARE STUPID!!!??? I like the puddle thing lol I just pictured people standing around a puddle (which would be amazing since this is vegas and it doesn't rain) with a cube of cheese with a homeless guy in the back ground making beat boxing sounds!!!
