Kalua Pork Recipe
Hey ladies.. I HM'ed in Maui and took a trip the year before that to Oahu. One of our favorite meals was the shredded kalua pork. I have a 2 lb pork roast I'm planning on slow cooking in a crock pot, and found some recipes online, but would rather have a traditional recipe if you know of one! I'm also looking for sides that go well with it I could find here on the mainland. Any links/recipes would be SO helpful.
We're hosting dinner for my parents (and my sister) on Thursday and I want it to be as delicious as when we were there!

I've actually made the Kalua pork recipe in the crockpot and served it. Was authenticated by all who ate it! Also made Kalua turkey using the same recipe and steps.
I haven't tried another recipe yet for Kalua pork, although there are many on line. Hope you find what you're looking for. Let me know what you've decided upon and the results.
