For some reason lately I have been feeling the need to do something creative but have no idea what. Maybe its just from a lack of projects to do since the wedding is over.
What is your creative outlet?

Bio updated 8/6/10 with a few pro pics
I love baking and got a lot of really neat baking stuff as wedding gifts. I haven't had the courage to try my dessert decorator pro yet, but I need to soon!
I too have been cooking with all my great new kitchen appliances. Fun!
I've also had the urge to paint my bathroom. We'll see if I actually get around to doing it though.
after this i'm going to do some research on international schooling and moving to canada.
DH is gearing up for application season again. i'll probably be researching programs for him. i'm a researcher at heart so i typically do better/more thorough research than him- plus i'm just really effing nosey- so i stalk the internet for good things to help him out- lots of students put alll of their business out there, you just have to look for it! it's nice to know when i program jerks around applicants. it helps decide whether you really want to be there!
some people criticize spouses helping "ooohhhh you cant do it yourself?!" but really? when you're looking at 20-30 different programs it's good to have a second eye. plus i have a tendency to look for hidden opportunities he doesnt have time to look for/think to look for (teaching abroad, language programs for his requirements, the amount of regular conferences in the area, funding for conference travel, etc). and i like to know what kind of opportunities i might have if/when we move somewhere. if i've gotta follow him around i might as well know what i'm getting myself into!

Cooking for sure. Also, I've been scrapbooking stuff from the wedding that I want to keep.
If you want a creative hobby to stick with, I highly recommend sewing. If you don't have a machine, you can get a cheap one and occupy yourself for a long time. I hadn't sewn in a long time until I made my BM's sashes for the wedding, and I remembered how much I like it. I've since made myself a couple of cute new aprons for the kitchen and some pj pants for H.
I've been working on my three current scrapbooks: 2010, Wedding, and Honeymoon.
While bored at work, I've also been playing with paint samples and ideas to decorate the house we put in an offer for! Woohoo! 3 bedrooms (technically 4 but the 4th is SUPER small- good for a nursery until the kid is like 5 but nothing else really,) kitchen, diningroom, livingroom, upstairs "nook" that the previous owners turned into an office.
I'm so excited
Except it only has one bathroom. We may turn the "4th" bedroom into another bathroom and master bedroom walk in closet. Or, we're going to knock out that side of the house, bring that bedroom and the master bedroom out farther, making the little room larger and putting the master bathroom/walk in closet on that side.
Hopefully, I'll begin making things for my new classroom! Fingers crossed ladies; I find out tomorrow afternoon!
