CiCi's Pizza open in Colonie

Did you guys know there is a Cicis open on Wolf Rd now?  It was one of those places I always saw lots of commercials but there wasn't one in Albany.

My friend in FL said it's not that great, like low quality, but I was just curious if anyone went.  If anything it will probably be kid-friendly.  DH tried to take DD on Sunday, but he said there was a huge long line out the door and down the sidewalk.  (It just opened July 19 I think).

Re: CiCi's Pizza open in Colonie

  • The one on Wolf road just opened last week because I know a few people that tried to go to the grand opening.  The first 250 people through the door got the buffet for free.  I heard the lines the last week were crazy there!  I went to one in Florida and it was ok.  Nothing special.  Just a pizza buffet with a few desserts you can get too.  It was like $8 with a drink and it's all you can eat.
  • well at least we have one now...I always wanted to know why we saw those commercials but didnt have one nearby...

maybe we should do a gtg there....cheap eats and kid friendly..woo-hoo!

  • When I lived in Charleston we had one.  It is nothing spectacular, but I like it...it is cheap and all you can eat!  When I was in college we loved going there and filling up on pizza!  Kid friendly too.  I would do a GTG there.

  • It's like the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial.  I see it all the time but it's not here.  I went to one when I went to Amherst and the wings were good.
  • I haven't been (and probably won't since I don't eat pizza) but I read in the paper that the first people who got there got something like a free pizza for a year!
  • DH and I went tonight.  I had been to one in Louisiana so decided to try this one.  The staff was very friendly and you can't beat the price - $4.99 for buffet and $1.69 for your drink.  Is it the highest quality pizza, no, but it is decent and they have some interesting flavors.  The spinach alfredo is my favorite.  What is nice is that you also get a salad bar, pasta, soup, and dessert for the price, and all of their ingredients are fresh - make their own sauce and their own dough daily.
