New Changes Comin!

Well first off, I was up all night with severe pain so hubby took me to the ER this morning. After spending about 8 hours there they told me I have kidney stones. They said it's about to pass, but we shall see. It could take up to a few days. Also bc of this, I missed my test today in psychology and couldn't go into work. Just pray this will past soon and I can go back to being normal.

Now for the changes. I started to look at my school schedule and realized that if I took the classes that I needed for this semester and between work, I would have no time for my family. So after discussing things with DH and looking over our finances, we have decided that it will be ok for me to quit my job and just concentrate on school. So I will be putting my two weeks on Aug 6. I work at Office Depot part-time, so it's not like I was making a crap load of money. I always worked nights and weekends.

I did tell my grandma about it today and she said that is good. Also, it will be great bc I will be able to spend more time with daughter. So I'm really excited and looking forward to these new changes coming!

I just wanted to share with yall! Wink

  • Oh man, from what I hear kidney stones are terribly painful to pass.  I hope the ER doc gave you some meds for the pain!

The other changes sounds exciting!  Hope it all works out for you.

  • Your changes sound so exciting!!  I wish I could do that, but I bring in 50% of our income so that wouldn't work :(

Hope you got some good pain meds and I hope your stone passes quickly!  I read your symptoms on you FB, and I was like, hey she's got some kidney stones! ;)

  • Hope you're feeling better soon! That's great you can focus on your studies more. I'm sure it's a load off of your shoulders and it'll be nice to be able to spend more time withe the fam!
  • Sorry about the stones!!  I've heard they can be very painful!  Hopefully, they'll pass soon!

YAY for being able to quit your job!!!  I would LOVE to be able to quit mine and be a stay at home wife, but I'd end up going crazy being cooped up in the house all day while Adam's at work.  Not to mention the fact that our financial situation wouldn't work out like that.  I make more money than Adam does, so it just wouldn't work out.

Happy Dance!!! Well once you get better!

  • I'm really sorry about the kidney stones but congrats on all the good changes coming!
