I'm being a girl, I know...
I'm a little upset at the quality of my wedding pictures, which I just received today. The girl who took them did a wonderful job in the customer service/hard work department, but they just came out unfocused and grainy... If you are my FB friend I posted them all tonight. I know it's the hormones and the wine talking, but I'm a little let down about the whole thing. Whoa is me...
Someone cheer me up... Tell me positive things that are going on in your life. GO!

Re: I'm being a girl, I know...
Agreed!
And on a quality site like Flickr, FB pics always look grainy.
A friend of mine was married this summer. I didn't see what they wanted their cakes to look like, but I saw the finished product. I never said anything.
Yesterday, he told me they were sending the photos into CakeWrecks. I just kind of exhaled with relief because they were kind of awful but I didn't want to say anything, you know?
This is one of those "bigger picture" moments. The pictures serve as a reminder of the memories from that day. Your memory will always be much clearer!
I want to see some of your pics!!
To be honest, I didn't completely love my pics either - proofs, though, are much different than how the real pictures look ESPECIALLY after cropping and such. When it was all said and done - I LOVE LOVE LOVE my album and I love my pics. The finished product is always much better.
And I don't think you are "being a girl" - weddings are damn expensive and I think its normal for a person to feel like their money was well spent.
Definitely. I'm sure they're actually really good. BUT, I know how you feel. My pictures didn't turn out the way I wanted at all, and I still get kind of sad thinking about them. I do have some really good shots still, so I focus on the ones I like.
I'm no photographer, but FWIW, I think you got some really good pics! Like the one of you and Chad dancing...that is SO sweet! Most of the ones that I noticed were grainy weren't pics that you'd order, so I hope you're able to put together an album you love!!
Positive thing I can share--my sister is here from New Jersey. I haven't seen her in 2 months, and we've gotten to hang out a lot this week so far!
FWIW, and being I haven't seen your photos, I had quite a few from my wedding that I didn't care for. Didn't turn out like I expected.
But, I'm thinking that you may have enough great photos to fill up an album and/or frame-worthy!
My ex SIL griped that her wedding photographer didn't take enough. He took an obscene amount, too (like 500+ during the wedding weekend) and still wasn't enough for her. They were married in November...now getting a divorce.
That is my positive thing. ha ha
I looked at them on FB (Boymom was tagged, so I looked at the whole album), and I thought they were good ones!
They're so much better than my wedding pictures it's not even funny. My wedding was in the middle of an ice storm - so, I didn't even have a photographer (or a wedding party or a crowd or even a reception). The only pictures I have are candids from the few family members that did brave the ice. It doesn't usually bother me, but ocassionally I'd like to put on my dress and have H get all gussied up just so we can have one nice picture of the two of us. Anyway, I thought your pictures turned out great!
Well thank you! If you ever want to have a "Wedding Redo" session just let me know!
