Our schools 7th grade class participated in a challenge day last year. Our school will repeat the program again this year.
Check it out. It's a really moving show/program.
I'd love to work for the program and visit school's doing this program with kids...

I watched part of it and DVR'd the rest.
My first comment is about the "mean girls" - how do you class yourself as mean girls?? you talk trash through a computer or text. i guess in my day that would have made you a coward, not a mean girl. also the fact that the parents seem to be so clueless as to what the hell the kids are doing through text or FB is appallable.
All i see challenge day doing is giving everyone more ammunition to torment people at later points in time...
but lets see what the rest of the show has...also it would be interesting to see a follow-up and see if it really did change anything or if Jessie's expierence is true for this crew too
I just watched on MTV.com. No commercials, about 39 min. long. I'm going to make my dd watch it. She is almost 13 and so worried about what she wears, what other people wear etc. So annoying.
