i really want to go on a short vacation
but DH keeps telling me no

I'd like to do something for our 3 year anniversary, long weekend or something, maybe a 4 or 5 day cruise, or a trip to VT to visit the ben & jerry's plant, ny city, chicago, anything!!!! a baby free trip of course )

I think that sounds like an awesome idea!!!
i know we can go on a 4 or 5 day cruise for probably around $1000 give or take
i need to start working my sad puppy face
DH would leave me if we didn't take an "only us" trip every year. I have to laugh at him b/c I was the traveler before we met and I've created a monster now.
I wouldn't mind a quick weekend trip w/ hubby but honestly my best vacations are with the kids! We usually take 2 big trips a year and this year our 2nd trip is without the kids. While, I look forward to some "us" time on the ocean I don't know what I was thinking booking an 8 day trip. I hope I'm not a basket case and ruin the trip b/c I miss the kiddo's.
