a fb friend of a fb friend

on the far right poses like this in every. single. picture. "Tilt my body to the side. OK, is my head tilted coyly over my shoulder? check. Hand on hip? check."And yes, there are lots of pictures of herself on FB.

Re: a fb friend of a fb friend

  • I have noticed a huge influx of this exact pose lately with lots of people.  And yeah, they do it in every. single. picture.  Was there a seminar they all attended?
  • isn't that the pose Barbizon teaches?

  • She must have gone to Barbizon.

The woman in the middle has nice breasts.

  • Your friend's friends are very fancy.

That IS Barbizon but Barbizon is  SO 80's. That's more a Paris Hilton stance.

  • The dress the woman on the left is wearing looks like a fancy body shaping undergarment.

  • I have a friend who has a strict "picture pose" and untags herself in all photos where she's not in that pose.  Redonk.

  • Why is the one on the left drooping her head like that. My 8 week old baby can hold his head straighter than that. It looks painful.

It's to hide her double chin. Der.

  • i bet they read verona's blog
  • I am convinced they teach this at sororities, or filter out those who don't already know about it during rush week.  I suspect the point is to make sure your arm doesn't look fat by having it rest against your side.

At this point, I assume whenever I see someone in that pose in a photo that they are a douche of epic proportions.

  • If you put your hand on your hip, it makes your arms look not as fat. Duh.

It does!  And the gal in the middle looks like she forgot to put her shirt on.  Not that I'm complaining.  Except maybe about the look on her face and that baller necklace she's wearing

  • putting your hand on your hip like that makes you look thinner, so does standing slightly to the side as opposed to straight-on.  I thought everyone knew that :)

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that in your sig pic you're standing slightly to the side with your hand (almost) on your hip.

  • I came to the conclusion it was done to look skinnier, but no, no one ever actually told me that.  But I really don't think a hand on my hip is going to work any miracles with me.  I still have a gut when I wear Spanx.
