Recommend your pot roast recipe *Slow Cooker*

Hey ladies!

So I've been using our slow cooker more recently but am still learning new recipes.

At the moment, I'm trying to find a good one for a roast I got today.

I've got :

roast

Potatos

Carrots

Cream of Mushroom

Cream of Celery

and random seasonings / spices

Any recommendations? :o)

TIA!

  • here is what i do...and what i am eating right now!

roast in crock pot with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 packet of onion soup mix (lipton or store brand).  that's it...just cook on low for 8-10 hours!

    so yummy!

  • I've been looking for a good one for a long time, so I'll be watching what everyone has to say myself!

I do the same thing (but add rough chopped onions about an hour before its ready)... it's super easy and DELISH!

This is what we do too. It really is delicious. I add a little water though, just to make sure the meat doesn't get dry.

  • Thanks ladies! Hopefully it'll turn out right :o)

I started it a bit late, but think it'll be done in time for dinner.

    I appreciate your help!

Same for me too. I just add a little water, garlic powder and pepper and then throw in some carrots for the last couple of hours so they don't get mushy.

Ohh man. . I've been wanting to try my hand at Salmon, but I've never cooked fish before and for some reason I feel like I'll just ruin it.

You ladies have such delicious sounding recipes! We should do a 'Food Swap Night' or something lol
