I shouldn't be this excited...
and DH is even more excited than I am!
Yes, we are nerds, and I say it loud and proud!
I can't wait to hear them tell me my antique treasures are just old junk!
Re: I shouldn't be this excited...
Is there a picture that you posted, because I can't see it, but PLEASE tell me you're going on Antiques Roadshow!!! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!
Stu, it's totally a picture of our tickets!
We're reeeaaallly hoping to either be on when they talk about your stuff, or to be the people at the end holding up their stuff going, "Turns out it's only worth about 5 bucks, but we had fun!"
I am super jealous!!!! I have SOOOOO much stuff that I could bring on there!!! My Nana and Papa were collectors of some sort and acquired stuff from all over the world and I've ended up with some of it. I'd never part with any of it, but it would be nice to know if the stuff is worth anything for insurance purposes.
My mom would be jealous, she loves that show too.
You have to practice your facial expressions in case your stuff is worth $10,000!
Lol! Amazing! Hope you have a hidden gem
I've been watching American Pickers lately. It's a fun show too!
LOVE IT!!!!
Do you have anything cool you're taking that you think "might" be worth something!?!? Or did you just collect some stuff that looks kinda old??
Oh and I agree that you should break down all hysterical like when they tell you its just junk. You'd be BOUND to make it on TV!
^^This^^
Sounds like fun! I don't really care for the show, but my parents love it.
haha, I'll have to work on my fake cry!
and we're bringing a few things... binoculars from WWII, DH's grandmother's pocket watch, and a toy from the 1950's- complete with original packaging! It's called the Electronic Bartender, and it's basically a doll that shakes a cocktail, drinks it, turns red, and then smoke comes out of his ears. And yes, this was a toy for children!!
