Please excuse my ignorance as I know nothing about this kind of stuff...
For our 5 year anny in October, I'd really like to give DH a new wedding band. His is so scratched that it looks like brushed silver and it is not! So I was hoping to get it "melted down" and "made" into another band that has extra protection against scratches and such. Since his original band has so much meaning I do not want to buy him a brand new ring but rather use his old ring to make a new one. Does anyone know of any jewelers that may be able to help me??
