crock pot cooking ?
So this may sound silly, but I'm really not sure...
Many crock pot recipes I come across say to cook on Low for anywhere from 5-6 hours. Well I'm gone a lot longer then that during the day, so what I'm wondering is this:
Our crock pot cooks on High and Low, then it has a Warm setting which it says not to cook on, it's just for keeping things warm. Well if I set my crock pot timer for 6 hours, after it reaches 6 hours does it switch itself to Warm? Is that ok, and does that hurt the quality of the food (overcook)?
