It coulda been worse...
I got rear-ended on my way home from work! For those following along at home, I have spent about $900 on repairs and tires for this car in the last month and a half, so my first thought was "of course." Fortunately, the car seems to be okay. The only difference I noticed was that slightly more rust than usual fell off when I slammed the trunk shut.
I had my hair up in one of those claw clip things, so I got jarred off the headrest at a weird angle. My neck is a little stiff and achy, but I've had worse from bad water-skiing spills. Or snow-skiing spills. Or falls off a horse. If it doesn't get any worse, I should be fine. I really hope so.
In GOOD news, we talked to the apartment manager today (we were going over, drafted agreement in hand, to ask her to reduce our rent because the A/C hasn't worked in two months), and she says that a guy is coming out about the air conditioner on Monday! HALLE-FREAKING-LUJAH! I'll believe it when I turn the thermostat dial and something actually happens, but the hope is making it possible for me to soldier on.

Wow... you really are accident prone! That's good about the A/C though! I can't imagine being in our house sans A/C for two of the hottest months out of the year.

Sorry to hear about the car accident, but super-glad that you're ok!!! I've had one too many accidents with one of those claw clip things in and I refuse to wear them in a car now. Having that hard plastic jab into your head does NOT feel good.

Some moron pulled out in front of me this morning as I was on my way into work! I had to swerve and lay on the horn. My entire cup of coffee tipped over and emptied into the cup holder area.
This is not my week! I swear that everyone in PA needs to be yanked off the road and administered the driver's test. If you fail, they take away your car. This would have the added benefit of reducing traffic congestion and gas prices.
You just need to go back home and crawl back in bed!!!! If it makes you feel any better, on my way to work this morning, I saw my favorite person pulled over by a city police officer on the side of the road!!! This is the A-hole that drives past my house going like 60 mph in a 25 mph zone. The same guy that threatened to "get out of this truck" when Adam told him to slow down. The same guy that would've gotten his face stomped if he HAD gotten out of that periwinkle colored truck. Karma's a biotch!!! I hope he got a ridiculously outrageous ticket!!!
We'll tell ourselves that he did! Maybe he mouthed off to the cop like he did to Adam.
Sorry about the car accident. Laughed though when you said the only difference was that when you shut the trunk and more rust fell off the car hugs my mom had a car like that when I was a kid.
Those darn clips go in a holder when I am in the car and then go back in when I get out of the car.
