How are you feeling?! I can't believe you're so close!

Re: ::KerCo::

  • I'm hanging in there.  I'm really uncomfortable these days.  The baby has dropped so slow that my doc can't even check me for dilation b/c she can't get around the head!  The baby's head is at zero station, which prob means nothing to non-pregnant people, but when women are in active labor, this is when they start pushing!  My doc was surprised I could even walk still when I saw her on Wednesday.  haha.  So basically any time now I should be having this baby!  There's a lot of pressure!

    I'm in good spirits though considering we had a sewer pipe crack a couple days ago, my house smells like a sewer, we're waiting for someone to come drain the pipe, and then we'll have to clean up liquid shitz in our basement from the broken pipe.  Great update, huh? haha.  I swear this stuff only happens to me! I guess I'd rather deal with it before the baby than after, but why couldn't this happen a month ago?  Oy vey!

    So if this baby could wait until my plumbing problem is resolved that would be just great!  But basically I can go into labor at any second now.  At least it's a pleasant day for sitting outside with my laptop!  :-)

  • I had no idea you could be so close to giving birth without being in active labor.  That is amazing!

    Good luck with everything (household and baby related), KerCo!

    I was just thinking about you and am glad KtotheO asked! Best wishes to you (and speedy home repair!) in the next few days!

  • Eek! Like Kasa said, I had no idea you could be that close but not actually in labor yet! Craziness. I'm glad that you're feeling relatively well, considering your progress! And oh my goodness about the plumbing... I hope that gets fixed ASAP.

    I'll be thinking about you and wishing you a speedy and healthy labor! Keep us posted (either here or on FB) if possible! (Yes, I'm being selfish. Stick out tongue)
