I'm just curious....any couples out there ever experience increased sex after having a child? I know there are plenty of people who see a decrease, but I just wondered if there are any lucky ladies out there enjoying the opposite effect?

Re: Sex increase post-baby?
My sex drive increased and we have sex more often now but not daily like other people here. We are still too tired some nights. :-)
However, the reason may make us a rare case, maybe not. Long story short, I spent years suffering from VERY painful sex and therefore, I avoided it. Visits to Dr's who said there was nothing wrong with me, extra lube, wine , etc., did not help. I am pretty sure I had vaginismus and unfortunately was not aggressive enough in trying to get help. I never had a problem reaching "O" once we got past the initial step. Anyway, I noticed that sex was not that painful once we began having sex after LO#1, and it got even better after LO2. I had c-sections but maybe I just finally learned to relax. Whatever happened was a nice change. So DH and I are now enjoying the sex we should have had all along.
This is one of the best side effects to having a baby I have EVER read.
