I can't remember who it was that said they were going. I want to hear how it was! Do you have pictures?

Re: Who went to Comic-Con?
That was me. It was pretty awesome, if a tad overwhelming. I didn't get very good pics as I left my good camera in the hotel most of the time because I got tired of carrying so much crap. The pics I did get, I'll put up on flicker or facebook or something and post a link here.
The short-as-possible version:
Felicia Day liked my sweater and checked the tag to see the name of it, which was kind of surreal and awesome. I met Michael Sheen (The Queen, Frost/Nixon, Twilight) on the floor, which was also kind of surreal and awesome. Both were extremely kind and gracious to fans even when the guy in front of me asked Felicia Day for a strand of her hair so he could sell it to a buddy at home. (WTF?)
We saw a lot of panels, stood in a lot of lines, and got a lot of free crap. (which apparently I was supposed to hold on to and put on Ebay to fund my next Comic Con trip. Oh well.)
The TRON trailer looks excellent in 3D. We lucked into tickets to Flynn's Arcade "interactive experience." Very cool. That was, for me, the definitive Comic-Con experience.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was also a big hit there. Saw the cast of Community and OMG Joel McHale is just as hot in person as on screen.
The Expo floor is bigger than you can possibly imagine. Also, crowded.
Sadly, no Nathan Fillion sightings. Turns out he did an impromptu autograph signing the day that DH and I had to miss half the day to get documents signed and faxed to Austin so we can buy a house this week.
That's all I can think of without writing a novel. I plan on putting up a blog entry about it and I'll post it here. In the meantime, check out NerdpromNomNom. It's the blog of the friends DH and I went with and there are photos, quotes and other con culture moments.
Rarely Updated Blog
Possibly? We went to the comic related panels on Friday and Sunday, but I couldn't tell you if they were part of the CAC. We're they specially marked?
We did catch a glimpse (or rather a soundbite of the theme music) of Pacey-Con as we were walking around the Gaslamp district. Not the same thing, but....
