My nephew is in the hospital
He's the one with mono and he has been flu like for a couoke days and his dr told my sister to take him to emergency yesterday. His spleen is so enlarged that they are keeping him until it goes down, the doctor estimates a week. Please send vibes, prayers and positive thoughts!

I'm so sorry. Has he been checked for leukemia? While it is unlikely, I feel like I should mention it even if there is only a .000000000000000001 chance. I know someone who was diagnosed with mono. She got sick in the summer. When she got worse, her mom took her to the pediatrician again. It was not until October that her mom took her to a different doctor. She had leukemia. Please ask if they have tested and ruled that out.
