oh!! we went out to a japanese hibachi restaurant in Rochester, NY where we went to college. I think I still have a pair of chopsticks (unused!) from that night.

DH and i had the best non-date date before we got together!! We'd know each other for 3yrs at this point and were pretty close friends, but there was this intense 2weeks right before we became 'official' that we were hanging out on a daily basis, basically feeling each other out.
I had a pretty bad day at work so he suggested we go get something to eat afterwards and then go see a movie. I remember waiting to meet up with him in Union Square park and as soon as i saw him coming towards me my heart skipped a beat!! (and it still does to this day and i even said that in my vows 
). So we were at an outdoor cafe and then saw a god awful movie then went out for beers after. It wasn't anything special but we had so much fun and it *felt* like a date...but it wasn't...

Finally! A Married Bio!!
DH and I had our first date at the Cheesecake Factory (one of my favorite restaurants). I had gone to the beach that day with my family and was super sunburned, so I was thinking of canceling, but I didn't and suffered through dinner like a cooked lobster. lol We've been together ever since (7 years).
wow! what awesome stories everybody has!
DH and i met online. we met up in union square on a saturday around 7 or 8 pm, and went for dinner, and then drinks. and then more drinks. and then more dinner. and then more drinks. and then dessert. and then more drinks. we finally had to leave after last call!
he put me in a cab at 4 am, and called me at 4:30 to make sure i got home safe. it was the best date EVER, and i knew from day one that it was right with him.
