I have found that putting on mind-numbing youtube videos in the background is like an ADD antidote. I guess because the part of my brain that is like, "What else is going on? Huh? Huh? What's over there? I need to check that one website again. Oh this other one now. Did I call about my insurance today? No, I need to do that. I wonder if my Amazon order shipped, let's check," and so on, gets bored into a trance and I can actually concentrate on what I'm doing.
The best kinds of videos for this are beauty guru channels. I just google "haul" or "makeup tutorial" and go to town. Sometimes I pay attention and giggle at the 21 year old demonstrating the application of drag queen makeup. I am embarrassed for them if they actually ever leave the house looking like that.

Re: My new work focus technique
Well, there is nothing less interesting than listening to someone list the names of all 1200 pink lip glosses they own.
ETA: this is kind of like how I turn on QVC if I can't sleep. So that could work for ADD therapy, too.
