Hoppin' on the vibes train...

I realized a few min ago that this situation might call for some good new-bride vibes to help it along!! :-D

Some of you know I got a 50% paycut in March (and a 10% one the May before). The main reason for this was that they were miscategorizing my profession, Music Therapy, NOT calling us therapists or including us in the category with all the others. Instead, they were putting us in a category with general care workers who only need a H.S. diploma and a couple hours of training. So in April we got a bill passed that states they HAVE to put us into the correct category (this is huge for our future security in the state of Arizona) by August 1st. There was nothing in the bill about rates (or they wouldn't have passed it), but we believe being correctly categorized will give us the leverage we need to fight for our money back.

Soooo.... long story (sorry), but August 1st is around the corner. I'm nervous to see what they do. I know they'll 'rename' us and classify us correctly, but I am HOPING they just decide to bring our rates back up without a huge fight. If there IS a fight needed, our AZ MT Assoc already has a proposal in place to give them if need be. So vibes please? That the state just gives our rates back without the extra fighting? Or at LEAST that either way, it ends up that we get our rates back? And hopefully QUICK? Going on 6 months half-pay. I'm sick of not having money and H giving me some, but I feel guilty (I know i know, we're married, but I'm still a proud, independent woman dammit!).

Vibes from ya ladies? (If ya actually got through all that?)
