I'm feeling like a walking zombie because I didn't sleep last night. At.all.

DH and I may be considering a foreclosure home that's being called out Tuesday on the courthouse steps. (Flameworthy part) It's the house right.across.the.street.from.my.IL. (DH mentioned that we'll have some serious boundries set in place if this actually happens)

I actually talk to my MIL more than my own mom (I would not live closer than I presently do to her), but IF (and it's a HUGE IF) this were to happen, DH and I would set some strict boundries on what is acceptable and that they could not just expect us to help with XY or Z just because of where we lived.

I used my groupon last night for my mani/pedi, but I didn't realize until after I bought it that it was for a different location than the one I go to. Apparently there are two salons within a close radius of each other. I went to the other one, forcing me to cheat on my nail lady, and I wasn't all that thrilled with the service. I will be contacting groupon to see if I can get a refund for my unused ones.

Shell, good luck to ya! All I can think about is Everybody Loves Raymond, LOL.

a friend of mine started dating a girl about 8 weeks ago (none of us even knew about her until about 2 weeks ago) when he told us they have been engaged and now they are having a baby. i want to tell him how STUPID these decisions were. you don't know someone that well after 8 weeks to make all these life decisions. however, it is too late for me to speak up now with a baby on the way. we haven't even met the girl yet. i don't know why the whole situation is bothering me so much but i get irked everytime i think about it. last time i talked to him, he was on eharmony meeting a different girl each week and now this is a huge change from that. i'm glad that he finally met someone he really likes but this is way too fast!!

Um, marriage AND a baby within 8 weeks???? They are going to go through the wringer, and they do not have a solid foundation for their relationship to weather the storm. That comes with time. Good luck to them!

Seriously. This is exactly what came to mind! I will pray for you if this happens. I don't care of good of a relationship you have with any family (IL's or not), it's never a good idea to live in reaching distance from each other!

I am very irritated that now that I am coming in an hour earlier, my boss made a comment that made it clear that I should only be leaving 30 min earlier. I don't want to bring it up though b/c I wonder if I was coming in too late before?

I think I will leave an hour early- since I came in an hour early today anyway b/c I am going to see DMB and backstage could get packed earlier than usual

I revelled a little too much in the "apology" phone call from my MIL yesterday. I also didn't argue when she said it may be best for us to stay at my parent's house this weekend instead of with her. As homesick as I've been feeling, I am SO excited to "go home" on her dollar!

Holy crap, I just realized I just spent over 2.5 hours in the bath! No wonder I am so pruney! But it was great, I'm all relaxed and my sore muscles are gone.
