This Sunday we're having a bunch of people over for Don's bday. We're having the normal/easy hot dogs and hamburgers, and my mom's making her tato salad.
What else besides chips and dip can I put out there? There'll be about 5-6 kids there as well, so any side dish kid friendly would help. Thanks!
Re: Food help for BBQ
A good sweet snack dip is: a container of marshamallow creme, bar of cream cheese, like 2 tbs of OJ, and some food coloring if you'd like.
Serve with a different variety of fruit - apples, pineapples, strawberries.
Oh yum!
How about weinies in bbq sauce?
Veggies and fruit. Watermelon is a must have for me. :-)
Nicole I think you have plenty of food already - I hate when people fill up on sides and never eat any food. Hot Dogs and hamburgers are perfect enough with chips and dip, tato salad - maybe fruit salad, mixed greens salad, maybe for dips - guacamole or maybe even Buffalo chicken dip! Corned on the cob is a good side dish, too.
Ohhhh Gerrie !! Do you have a mexican isle in your grocery section?
I mean * aisle * duhh all mexican. hahaha
Corn on the cobb
Baked Beans - Bush's vegetarian are my fave!
~~~MARRIED BIO~~~
ok make these - dont judge by the ingredients - i am telling you this may be the best appetizer EVER! and super easy to make! my canadian friend makes these and let me tell you, if you want one, you have to grab it FAST because the plate gets empty quick!
?
Tuna Bites?
3?hard boiled eggs, shredded1/2 chopped onion
1 cup shredded carrots
1cup shredded cheese?
1 can tuna
Seasoning?(Tonys red pepper flakes to taste)
3/4cup mayo. Add more if needed. You don't want your mix too liquidy.?
Stuff the stuff in crescent rolls that you made fit in a muffin pan.?
Bake 15 min at 375F or until dough is?golden brown.?
Let rest before you cut them or stuffing will run.?
?
Enjoy!?
