kittens!

I want a kitten. I used to be a total cat person when I was little. I just loved cats, then when I was college age I turned into a total dog lover. (I always liked both, but never wanted a dog for myself.) Well lately I have been thinking how much better suited we are for cats. We own a condo where it would be much easier to have cats then dogs. I also like that cats are more self sufficient then dogs, IMHO. And they're quiet. hahaha.

I saw a couple getting two kittens yesterday at Petsmart and I was thinking "OMG KITTENS!!!!" lol. Now all I can think about is how much I want one. We aren't going to, I do have some self control. Plus Ted is not a cat person.

No point to this post, I'm just hanging out at home while the electricians are working upstairs. I've cleaned everything in the house now, so I'm so bored.

  • Kittens are super adorable.  Well so are cats I guess which is something I'll probably get flamed for.  But I and deathly afraid of both.  When I was little my cousins had 2 cats at different times.  Both attacked me because the other kids drove them crazy and I just happened to be the smallest and easiest to catch.  I still have scars down the back of my calves from when Mad Max dug his claws in while I was running.
  • Cristina - your photo is only fueling the fire!

Maria - don't encourage me! hahaha

Cindy - I can totally understand why you'd be afraid of them! wow! I got a cat "for Christmas" when I was 5. I guess when I sat on Santa's lap and he asked what I wanted I said "I only want a cat named Kimber!" I have NO idea where the name Kimber came from, and neither does my mom. So on Christmas morning after I was done opening my presents my parents came in with a box and said "I think there's one more!" I opened it and out came the most gorgeous chocolate color Siamese mix, and away she ran to hide under the wood burning stove in our old living room. hahaha. I remember she wouldn't come out for hours. I loved that cat.
