So what part of the DFW area are you from?

I was born and raised in Dallas (Pleasant Grove area Tongue Tied ), then moved to Forney during my High School years. Now I stay in on the North side of Arlington. Just curious to see where everyone else lives.

I was raised in south Fort Worth, but DH and I have lived in Keller for almost 5 years now. We love our house but hate how far away we are from his work and the traffic can be pretty bad on all of the highways near us. We would like to move to Grapevine to be a little more central in the future.

I work at Baylor Grapevine and it's really a nice area. This is one of our choices of where we want to stay in a couple of years when we begin house hunting.

Lived in Plano from the time I was 8 until I moved to Austin at 19 for college... moved back at 23 and lived in Plano officially until April... Now I'm in Frisco.

Lived in Flower Mound for 6 years, then various cities for apartment living during college, and now we've been in Mckinney for 4 years. We're building a house in Mckinney now so we won't be moving from this area for a looong time.

Born and raised in Garland, moved to Dallas for a couple of years in my 20s, moved to Memphis, TN, then back to Garland a few more years, and now I've been in Far North Fort Worth the last four years with DH. It's okay because we're close to family, but the traffic sucks. I'd like to live in the Southside area of Fort Worth for our next house. We'll see what happens.

Well, I was born and raised in East Texas. Have lived in the Dallas area for ~5.5 yrs now, first Plano and now close to the Firewheel area.

Raised mostly in Mesquite, now live in South Fort Worth - will never be back in Dallas County again. We love Fort Worth.

I grew up in Dallas, in the Park Cities. Went to UT Austin for 2 years, then now-DH and I lived in East Dallas. Now we are in North Dallas and we love this neighborhood!

I was born in Dallas but moved to Atlanta for a few years. My family moved back to Texas when I was 7 and so I essentially grew up in The Colony. I currently live in the Frisco area.

I lived pretty much a little bit of every where in DFW. I was born in Dallas. We lived in Arlington must of time I was in elementary school. When my mom got remarried, we moved to Rockwall for 5 years, and then I went to high school in Red Oak. After that, I lived in Denton, Dallas, Plano, and then Dallas again. When my DH and I moved in together, we lived in Lewisville, and we just bought a house in Flower Mound.

I was born in South Texas, in a small town called Edinburg.

My parents moved to Carrollton when I was 4 ... despite them buying several houses, parents getting divorced and both parents remarrying ... we have always lived in Carrollton.

DH and I got married and rented an apt in Coppell. We closed on our first home last week and it's in Carrollton.

I am promising myself that our next home will NOT be in Carrollton - I would like to move at some point, but we're close to family and I work for the district, so it makes the most sense now. In about 10 years I would love to move to Prosper.

I was born in Springfield, MO, but moved to Mesquite and have been here ever since (except college). We own in Mesquite, now, but are looking to move back north (MO) eventually.

Ebonis- I teach in Pleasant Grove.

I grew up in Nebraska, moved to Florida after college (and met DH). We moved to Texas in '08 and live in the Denton area. We really enjoy the area, but I currently work in FW though and maybe in a few years we'll move a little more into FW area...it all depends on how our jobs work out.
