sunday afternoon AW
Thanks to the folks who helped with hair advice. I think it turned out pretty good, kind of an off-center twist of curls/bun. We clean up OK, I think my husband looks dead sexy in a tux.
We went to a wedding (nope, not Chelsea's). Nice ceremony, good food at the cocktail hour, good band/dancing, but holyshit, dinner was late. Entrees were served at 11:00 pm! We can't hang like that anymore, especially with an early birdie baby. We bailed right after dinner.
Of course as expected, MC was up at 6 am, ready to play. In order to let my friend who babysat continue sleeping, we grabbed coffee from DD and hit the park. And now we have a little swinger baby:

Gorgeous! I love the hair and love the dress. Yeah, the problem with these babies is that even if you get a night off, you're still back on duty at the crack of dawn.
And MC is a-freakin-dorable.
I actually have the start of a business plan to address this. "Snooze Button Babysitting Co" aka babysitters for hangover mornings. It would kinda be like zipcar. There'd be an annual membership fee, then a per use hourly type fee. You could call the night before (as late as say like midnight) to secure a morning babysitter. They would come from say 5 or 6 am til 8 or 9 am and take care of the kids while you sleep in and sleep off your hangover. Additional value added services would include delivery of bagels/donuts/coffee.
How much per hour would you be willing to pay? The going rate for normal babysitters round these parts is $15/hr for one kid. I'm thinking I could charge at least $20, if not $25-30/hr, with breakfast another $20.

Yeah, Ian seems not to care that F and I didn't get to sleep until 3AM. He stayed with my parents, but has been high energy all afternoon. At least he just let out a big yawn.

And we are so excited about the discovery of the swings. It's nice to have a destination on a walk and be able to get her out of the stroller. Plus we met some other parents with early birdie babies which was nice.

Very nice! You looked great. I cannot imagine what I would have done if I had to wait until 11pm to eat dinner, but I bet it would have gotten me on the news. You do not make a fat person wait to eat if you want to keep all your appendages.
Mucho is adorable! I love her little kicking legs. Your youtube name made me do a double take though. I was like, "Lindsay isn't old enough to call herself a cougar!" And then I realized you probably were talking about Washington State and not about old ladies who like young boys.
