When do the crickets stop??
After living in Laredo for nearly 3 years, I forgot about lovely cricket season in Austin. YUCK!
RC has decided that they are toys and brings them in the house to play with them. Then he plays with them til they die and leaves them in lovely little pieces. If I try to get it away from him, he just picks it up and goes to where I can't get him. I'm sick of picking up the cricket graveyard.

My dad is a statistician, and I remember him telling us when we were kids that the crickets chirping is directly related to the temperature, the warmer it is it gets louder and more intense.
I think around October when it cools off at night.
It sucks and my dog does the same thing. It's the one thing he won't eat but loves to bring them in the house.
