It was good, probably my least busy weekend since like may!
I went to my bff's family shower on saturday and it was soooo nice!
Painting, painting, painting!
But we got a lot done and I don't feel so overwhelmed anymore (just sore and tired, haha!) I'm getting other things on my list checked off as we're clearing out the rooms to paint, and as we start to put furniture and stuff back in.
We had a concert last night and ended up getting home pretty late. The concert went well, although I have a cousin (my grandpa's first cousin) who lives out there and she's creepy. Seriously. She kept introducing herself to other people in the wind ensemble (including our conductor) and telling them how she's my first cousin. And she just stands there and stares at me, moved her chair to be closer so she could watch. That's just the tip of the iceberg and I actually try to avoid her, but had to promise to call her sometime and meet her for dinner or something.

My weekend flew by! Friday night DH and I went out for cheap mexican and then home to bed. He had to work Saturday morning, so he was planning on getting up early.
Saturday, I spent the day getting pampered and shopping. I had a mani/pedi/eyebrow wax, and then I splurged on a BUNCH of new maternity clothes. Later that night we cooked out a friend's house with some of our other friends. I didn't get home until midnight which is waaay past my bedtime these days.
So, SUnday, I slept in. Went to the grocery store, started working on Addie's hairbow holder, made supper and had our neighbors over for supper, and then I spent the rest of the night laying on the couch and being lazy.
My weekend was great! Saturday Lo was up at 7:00 but she wasn't hollering to get out of her crib, she was just talking away to her babies (hello kitty dolls).. well about 8:00 I didn't hear a peep so I went to check on her and she was knocked out! So we both slept till 9:30 !!! Did a little shopping at the mall.. Joe had a concealed handgun class so he was at that till about 6:00, we ordered Wingstop and then watched Hot Tub Time Machine... so funny!
Yesterday we packed up and went to the beach. It was absolutely gorgeous out there !!!! We found a spot that had a little sand bar before the next gut so Lo pretty much had a little ocean all to herself! it went up to about her knees and she had a blast !!!
Now back to Monday and the grind. Although I'm leaving at 3:00 today to get a Pedi and my nails did before going to pick up Lo
On Saturday I went to Dh's cousin's baby shower. It was pretty fun, Dh has other cousins with kids and one of them is around Cade's age, so they "played" together. That night Dh, Cade and I spent the night at his aunt and uncle's house because we had a family reunion the next day.
We went up north to Dh'd family farm for the reunion on Sunday. Dh got to go fishing but didn't catch much. We had a lot of fun, but I was stuck nursing a teething baby who didn't want to nap! Oh well. We brought our dog and he had so much fun and is so tired today! haha. No hyper dog for me today!
We had a pretty good weekend it was so nice here.
Friday night we ended up at my IL's then just stayed the weekend since we had to be out that way anyways.
Saturday I went to SixFlags with my Mom and sisters which was a blast I haven't been there in ages so it was a good times. Then I met Kevin at his cousins grad party which is always a good times Kevin's Mom's said of the family is a blast!
Sunday we got Collin from my sisters house and then we headed home and did some little this around here that needed to get done.
I had a great weekend! On Friday I rushed to pick up the kids and take them to the Coca Cola museum but it was too late. They said they didn't care and begged to go to McDonalds instead. LOL I spent the evening washing their clothes and helping them pack. On Saturday we went out to breakfast then took them to the airport. It was bittersweet. I had so much fun with them so it was sad to see them go. I cried a little. We were glad to have our freedom back. On Saturday night, Brock and I went out to dinner with another couple who are close friends of ours. We had a great time! We ended the night having drinks on a rooftop bar in downtown Atlanta. It was niceOn Sunday I picked my grandmother up from their airport and cooked dinner with her. She is here visiting until Friday.
PS - Thursday is my birthday!!! woohooo!

Friday we had this insurance guy stop by. UGH WHY OH WHY do we do these things? It was VA life insurance. I felt so awful talking about when Art dies at different ages. It just put a dark cloud over my head for the evening.
Saturday - I FINALLY got the master bedroom wall decorated. It was all day project. Spray painting, hanging and wa-la done!
Sunday - did a lot of grocery shopping and baking. Sunday flew by so fast. Oh yes, and I got a little drunk last night. It felt good to just relax and let loose. lol
Friday - We got our air conditioning fixed, went out shopping for granite countertops. I wanted to look at colors and backsplashes. We are finally going forward with the final step of our remodel with our kitchen. I'm freaking excited. Came home, Eric made dinner. We watched Hot Tub Time Machine (hilarious as Christina said) and Edge of Darkness (so-so).
Sat/Sun - Painted like crazy at our BF's house, I was in charge of the remaining door trim. I have a pretty steady hand and a good eye for painting straight. Eric learned how to do crown moulding...decided he hated it, and we will not install it in our house (Not a DIY project we want to do). There is too much room for error and the constant walking back and forth and holding the long crown moulding...was tedious.
Friday-went out to dinner for my friends b-day and had a nice big margarita! I needed that night out badly. Everyone went to the bar and I went home to the hubby and babe.
Saturday-ran some errands and then went to a get together at a friends house with all the kids. We had a good time just exhausted when I left.
Sunday-went and at lunch with my mom and looked around for b-day supplies for T's 1st b-day ::tear:: and then Shane came over to my moms and we had dinner.
Eh. It was an ok weekend.
Friday night - Chaser and I headed to our beach house and got a late night dinner at the local bar/resturant. Very irritating getting 2 tuna sandwiches an hour after ordering them. I had a few drinks, Chase sung some kareoke, and we crashed before 11:30.
Saturday - Head down to the beach from 10-2 then to a little get together with some friends
Sunday - Sat around and watched TV with the 'rents all day. Came home and watched the rest of season 4 of Weeds with DH.
DH and all 3 of my brothers went surf fishing from Saturday afternoon through the night until Sunday morning. It was a boys only trip which sucked for me since I havent seen my youngest brother since February. He just got back from Bootcamp in TX and tech school in SC. My smooth clean cut little bro shows back up with a fiance (who we already knew) and 6 tattoos. 6!!!! Hes trying to talk DH into letting me get another one.
Friday-DH and I had an early dinner in San Francisco and then went to the Giants/Dodgers game. We had soooo much fun watching the Giants beat LA. After the game,we went back to our hotel and had a late night snack in the bar.
Saturday-We headed home, but stopped in Emeryville, which is right over the bridge from SF to look at an apartment. Crazy enough, the leasing agent was someone I worked with at the Hallmark Store in college, 45 minutes away! Isn't that wild? We decided an apartment is not for us (especially what they were charging). Got home and headed into Sacramento. The baby store we are in love with was having a warehouse sale. We pickd up an $1100 stroller for $575. It was more than we wanted to spend, but it came with an infant seat, which we needed anyway and is an amazing brand. We are so in love with the stroller. We've been taking turns walking around the house with it, lol. We got back home and sent some emails about houses in Pacifica we saw on Craigslist for rent. Then we went to the IL's house for dinner.
Sunday-DH did some yard work then we went grocery shopping. We spent the day just lounging around the house, which was super nice.
my weekend was really fun!
friday i threw a lingerie shower for my girlfriend who is getting married in 2 weeks in jamaica, it went great. then we went out for drinks at the W in fort lauderdale.
saturday morning, 12 girls from the shower drove down to south beach, one of them works at the Ritz and got us really cheap rooms, and we had a bachelorette party for my friend. we sat by the pool all day (they had a tanning butler rub sun screen all over us LOL) then out that night to some of the lounges/clubs at south beach.
i rarely go down there, so it was so fun, and the bride had a blast. it was my first night away from josie, but i kept myself occupied and it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be.
josie doesn't nap much, but when i got home on sunday, she curled up with me and we took a 2.5 hour nap together! just what mommy needed to feel better after 2 crazy nights. she is the best little baby!
