There are three placentas in the freezer in our basement. DH's and his two brothers. They were saved with the intent to be planted under a fruit tree so that the boys would prosper. Obviously she never planted them. At this point they are just a neat conversation piece. 

 

oh, and lanie, the etsy lady is in Chicago. ha!

  • See, in my head I'm now going over all the crazy scenarios this entails. Moving to a new house? Make sure you pack a cooler full of ice for the placentas! Power goes out? Save the placentas! Move the placentas over, I need to make room for our thanksgiving turkey!

  • Blerg.  This is like the Lotus Birth post on the Natural Birth board.  If I can get through birth without ever seeing the placenta, I will be a-OK.
